Chapter Administrator
A chapter’s administrative duties require numerous hours each month. It is recommended that every chapter have a paid Chapter Administrator. The sample position description will assist you in writing a description according to your chapter’s needs.
Chapter Administrator Sample Position Description
- Attends all chapter board meetings, regular monthly meetings, and attends other ASCCA meetings as requested.
- Recruits new members by calling prospects which are recommended by other members in good standing.
- Contacts members concerning delinquent dues by telephone or in person.
- Assists the membership meeting committee. Invites prospective members and spouses to chapter meetings.
- Greets members at chapter meetings and informs the board President of the presence of guests at meetings.
- Compiles, edits, and distributes the chapter newsletter.
Suggested Reimbursement
- $9.00 per member in good standing, per month.
- Current "Standard Federal Reimbursement" rate per mile traveled for chapter business.
- $50.00 per month for expenses deemed necessary, plus expenses for telephone bills, postage, stationary, business cards, paid on submission of invoices.
- $25.00 per new member sign-up.
- Free meals at regular meetings.
