Jump ahead 70 years and there is still a large group of shop owners and industry leaders doing what they can to improve this industry in order to improve their lives. I didn’t say ‘involved businesses,’ I referred to the individuals. We may be part of a very complex and technical industry, but it’s still about the people.

The businesses and associations that classify themselves as business to business (B2B) are still about the people. Your business doesn’t talk to Worldpac or Enterprise —you do when you speak to another person. Your experience with them affects the quality of your life —just as you do to theirs.

We spend a lot of time focused on fixing cars, but It’s not about the cars and technology. We perform a service for the people who drive and own those cars. We study, and learn, and improve our skills in order to provide more value to better serve them; which, in turn, improves our lives.

It’s all about people and the quality of our lives.
