The Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI), whose members represent the majority of manufacturers providing equipment and tool information to OEM’s and the aftermarket, is holding its ToolTech 2010 conference April 20-22 in Napa wine country.
New this year! ETI is inviting ASCCA members to attend this annual event, with its excellent speaker and panel discussions, one-on-one meetings with companies, and social and networking activities. The program also includes a panel discussion by top ASCCA member shop owners!
In addition to an exciting program , the registration fee includes an opening reception at Gundlach Bundschu Winery, closing banquet at Artesa Winery, two luncheons, social and networking activities, exhibit show, and one-on-one meetings with OEMs, tool and equipment companies, national chain stores, large suppliers, and others.

One-on-One Meetings!
The One-on-One Meetings are pre-arranged, private, closed door meetings held during ToolTech. ASCCA members can request to meet with specific OEM personnel, ETI companies, automotive service providers, manufacturers, distributors, and others. Time slots are scheduled in 30 minute increments with 5 minutes in between meetings. Take advantage of this opportunity to meet with key people in the industry and build relationships that could result in sales, questions answered, or problems solved. Learn!
ToolTech will have at least a dozen speakers giving presentations on important subjects pertinent to everyone involved in automotive repair.
Topics such as OEM increased diagnostic offerings to the aftermarket, the importance of in house repair shop services vs. subletting, updating traditional under car service products, TPMS marketing study results, the future of remote OBD I/M testing will all be presented this year.
There will also be panel discussions that include the opportunity for you to ask questions of industry experts. This year there will be panels on the following:
Under car services: panelists will be from the chain under car industry.
Collision Repair: Panelists from vehicle manufacturers and the insurance industry.
Heavy Duty: Panelists from engine manufacturers and the heavy duty parts manufacturers
ASCCA Shop Owner Panel: Panelists from ASCCA's membership to answer questions from OEMs and tool Manufacturers.

Market!
ToolTech includes an ETI Member Showcase that allows tool companies to show their products to equipment buyers at several levels from OEMs to national accounts to independent shop owners. This year the hours have been increased. There is now one evening session including a cocktail happy hour. Click here for booth information
Network!
During the entire week there is time allotted for networking. Lunches, an Opening Reception, Showcase Happy Hour and the ToolTech Closing Dinner will afford everyone the time they need to meet the people they want to meet. This year we will be visiting two off site wineries in Napa and Sonoma Valleys and it’s all included in your ToolTech Package.
Of course for you golfers we have a golf tournament. This year we will be playing at The Chardonnay Golf Club, 5 minutes from the hotel.
ETI will also arrange Winery Tours to some of the best and most beautiful wineries in Napa Valley and Sonoma for Attendees and their Guests. Click here for more information on winery tours
