Jack T. Molodanof

A business law attorney and lobbyist, has distinguished himself in the areas of legislative, regulatory and public service. Mr. Molodanof is a state registered lobbyist. He is a highly respected and trusted advisor to many local and state government officials.

Qualifications

Mr. Molodanof is president of Molodanof Government Relations, a Sacramento-based government and political affairs firm specializing in government relations, advocacy, community relations, and lobbying. Mr. Molodanof is an attorney representing trade associations with emphasizes on general business transactions and small business issues.

Experience

Prior to establishing Molodanof Government Relations, Inc in 2008, Mr. Molodanof was a principal and shareholder in the lobbying firm the firm of Holloway Rasmusson & Molodanof, Inc from 2000-2008. While at Holloway Rasmusson and Molodanof, Mr. Molodanof oversaw and directed all lobbying efforts on behalf of its many clients.

Prior to Holloway Rasmusson and Molodanof, Mr. Molodanof was a senior attorney/lobbyist with the law firm of Ochoa and Sillas between the years of 1990-2000. While at Ochoa and Sillas, Mr. Molodanof handled the firm's litigation cases and was involved in such lobbying efforts as consumer protection, transportation, insurance, environment, community redevelopment, construction, local government, water, automotive and education issues.

From 1987- 1990 Mr. Molodanof was an attorney with the San Jose law firm of Hoge, Fenton, Jones & Appel. His practice included business and real estate litigation, corporate law, personal injury, professional liability litigation, construction litigation and landlord/tenant actions

Education

Mr. Molodanof graduated with distinction from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 1987. His achievements in law school included making the Dean's List and membership in the Traynor Honor Society. He also was the recipient of American Jurisprudence Awards for excellence in the study of business associations and community property. Mr. Molodanof graduated from San Jose State University in 1983 with a B.S. in Business Administration. Mr. Molodanof has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1988.

Civic Activities

Mr. Molodanof is currently an appointee of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors to the Assessment Appeals Board, which hears all real property tax disputes. He is a former Planning Commissioner and served on the Sacramento City Planning Commission for approximately four years. He has served as judge pro tem for the Sacramento County Small Claims Court. Mr. Molodanof is also a member on the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) Advisory Group which provides input to the Chief or the BAR program.

Mr. Molodanof is a member of the State Bar of California and Sacramento County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for Eastern, Northern, Southern and Central Districts of California, the California Supreme Court, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Molodanof is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has a reputation of excellence.
