Probably the most important issue in the automotive industry today, telematics, is something you need to understand. See the enclosed "white-paper" (here) which describes telematic systems and the possibilities with the data derived from this system. You should also know that CAWA and the Auto Care Association have developed a "white- board" that explains telematics in its simplest form (and was financially sponsored by Vantage Marketing Global, Inc.)

ASCCA President Defends the Rights of Automotive Repair Shops and Their Customers at Joint Legislative Hearing SACRAMENTO – ASCCA President testifies at Joint Legislative Committee that Consumers should have the right to choose where they have their car repaired. This year, California voters will be tasked with answering an important question—should California’s minimum wage be increased to $15 an hour? Debate over increasing the minimum wage has been going on for years, but this will be the first time that voters will be able to weigh in, after a proposed ballot initiative received enough signatures to qualify for the November ballot. The initiative, sponsored by a union representing health care workers, would increase the state minimum wage by one dollar a year through 2021, and would continue to increase with inflation.
